How it works

Describe the website or app you need, review what Mousepad builds, and publish when you are ready.

From description to published app

  1. Describe your business and the task

Say what you do, who the site is for, and what visitors should be able to do. For example: “A website for a pottery studio with a weekly class schedule, seats available and payment when people book.” This is an invented example. Browse more starting prompts.

  2. Create your account and build

Choose Get started. Your description carries into sign-up. Mousepad may ask clarifying questions, then builds the pages and app. You do not need to write code.

  3. Review and change the result

Use the studio preview to check pages and try the workflow. Ask for changes in the chat. The studio also has Code, Data and History views for inspecting the app and its records.

  4. Connect services and test

For payments, connect your own Stripe account. Check your content, forms, sign-in and any booking or order flow before inviting customers. Use synthetic records while testing. Read the setup guides.

  5. Publish and keep improving

Publish to a Mousepad address, or connect your own domain on Plus or Pro. Changes made in the studio need publishing before visitors see them. Pro includes scheduled Growth reviews; you review drafts before they go live. See hosting and domains and AI SEO and Growth.
