CRM and client portals
Your customers in one place, and a portal of their own.
Keep customer records, notes, and follow-ups together, and give clients a page where they sign in to see their requests, orders, and files.
Ledgerly
A client portal where clients sign in to see statements, invoices, and messages.
An invented example: a sample business's order and the site it came back as.
What you can make
Say what you keep about each customer and what clients should see. Mousepad builds both sides on your app's own database.
- No. 08058:40
Roofing
A customer list for my roofing business. Each customer has their address, past jobs, notes, and a follow-up date, and the first page shows who's due this week.
- No. 081110:15
Design studio
A client portal for my design studio: each client signs in to see their projects, share files with us, and approve drafts.
- No. 081811:50
Dog training
Client records for my dog training business with each dog's notes and sessions, and a page where owners sign in to see their next session and homework.
- No. 08241:35
Event planning
A lead tracker for my event planning business. Inquiries from the site land in a list, and we move each one from new to proposal sent to booked.
- No. 08303:05
Repair shop
A page where customers sign in to see the status of their repair and pay the invoice online when it's ready.
Example orders. The numbers and times on the tickets are invented.
How it works
- Describe your customersSay what you keep about each customer, what clients should see, and who on your team does what.
- Try it as a client and as staffMousepad makes a sample account for each kind of user. Switch between them in the preview to check who sees what, and ask for changes.
- Publish itPublish and share the link. Clients create their accounts and see their own records; your team works behind sign-in.
What keeps it private
A portal only works if each client sees their own things and nothing else. Mousepad builds that into the database, not just the screen.

Questions
How do clients get in?
They sign up with their email address and a password, then see only what belongs to them. Your staff sign in the same way and see the staff pages.
Can I look through the records myself?
Yes. Your staff pages show them, and the Cloud view in the studio lists every table and its rows.
Can I keep notes that clients don't see?
Yes. Ask for staff-only notes, and Mousepad keeps them on the staff side, where the database won't hand them to clients.
Can it hold patient health information?
No. Mousepad is for everyday business information, not patient records.
Give every client their own front door.
Describe what you keep about customers and what they should see, and Mousepad builds the records and the portal together.
