## What Mousepad does

Mousepad is an [AI website and app builder](https://mousepad.app/website-builder) for small businesses. Most businesses need more than a page with their hours on it: customers want to book, order, ask for a quote, pay a deposit, or sign in to see their own invoices and files. Mousepad builds all of that from a plain description of the business.

Every site Mousepad makes is a real web app with sign-in, a database for your records, and online payments through your own Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you. Mousepad hosts it, keeps it on HTTPS, and backs it up. You change it the way you started it, by asking in the chat for a new page, a new price, or a new feature, and you publish it the same day on a free web address or your own domain.

After launch, Mousepad keeps working on being found: titles, descriptions, and local business details written as the site is built, answers that AI assistants can quote, and, on Pro, a weekly review of what to fix. Nothing goes live without your approval.
